Linkcart (“we”, “us”) lets you build a public wishlist and share it with a link. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who we are

Linkcart is operated from the United Kingdom. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at naylicnaza@gmail.com. We act as the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

• Email address — to sign you in via a magic link and to send you transactional messages (sign-in links, purchase confirmations).
• Your handle— the public username in your cart’s URL (e.g. linkcart.me/yourname).
• Cart contents — the items you add: titles, prices, links, and images you upload or that we fetch from links you paste. Your cart is public by design.
• Purchase status— whether you’ve unlocked the paid tier. We do not see or store your card details (see Payments).

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies we set are strictly necessary ones that keep you signed in.

Processors we use

We share data only with the services needed to run Linkcart:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and image storage.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
• Resend — delivery of transactional email.
• Polar — payment processing as merchant of record. Polar handles your payment details directly; we never receive your card data.

Legal basis & retention

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure product. We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account at any time from your account page, and we’ll remove your profile, carts, items, and uploaded images.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict its processing. You can export or delete your data yourself from the account page, or email us and we’ll help. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If we update this policy we’ll change the date above. Significant changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
